ABOUT US

Meet Nick & Kyla Price, Owners and Founders of The Twisted Filly Clothing Co. They are passionate about helping others and spreading the love of Jesus, one dummy roping event at a time.

Kyla, who was born and raised in Creek County, now along with her husband Nick, raise their two young cowboys, Wyatt and Boone, in Creek County, Oklahoma. Their journey began with a simple but profound desire—to give back to their community and create an original one of a kind everyday clothing brand for little cowhands. Both Nick and Kyla have always believed in the power of kindness and faith, and their dedication to these values has driven them to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Over the past six years, Nick and Kyla have poured their hearts into organizing and producing dummy roping events for children across Oklahoma and beyond. They offer these events completely free of charge for kids aged 1 to 12, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of roping, regardless of their background. Their commitment goes beyond just organizing the events; they also provide prizes and small gifts to all participants, making sure every child leaves with a smile.

The impact of their efforts was particularly evident at the Creek County Fair. When they were first invited to produce a dummy roping event for the fair, they saw an opportunity to share their love of the rodeo world with kids who might have never had the chance to experience it. Many of these children had never touched a rope before, but with Nick’s patient guidance and encouragement, they quickly learned the basics. The excitement and growth were palpable; kids who attended the first year came back the next, some having improved so much that they won their age divisions and proudly wore trophy buckles home.

Nick and Kyla’s dedication to their mission has not gone unnoticed. The Creek County Fair Committee has invited them back for the fourth consecutive year, and added a second night a true testament to the positive impact they’ve made. Each year, they continue to enhance the experience, offering trophy buckles for winners, gift cards, and additional prizes. The joy and enthusiasm from the kids are a constant reminder of why they do what they do.

Looking ahead, Nick and Kyla are setting their sights on a new venture: a Day Camp for troubled inner-city kids. A portion of all profits is donated to The Twisted Filly Ministries Kids Camp. By shopping with The Twisted Filly Clothing Co you are helping Nick and Kyla fund and bring the essence of cowboy life to children who may never have had the chance to interact with horses or experience the cowboy way of life. By offering this camp free of charge, they hope to ignite a passion for the rodeo and ranching lifestyle, while also sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ.

This day camp aims to teach the basics of horse care, providing each child with hands-on experiences that will last a lifetime. Nick and Kyla believe that through these interactions, they can offer not just new skills, but a glimpse into a world filled with values of hard work, dedication, and faith.

Their story is one of unwavering dedication to their community, driven by a deep love for others and a commitment to their faith.
